Include Antarctic ice, and global ice extent is higher than average. But with Antarctic sea ice hitting a record 7.51 million square miles in September, this is not something that the warmists could tolerate.

So up pops researcher Ted Maksym, with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts to tell us that the Antarctic is part of the warming as well.

On goes the old litany: if it's hotter, it's climate change; if it's colder, it's climate change; wetter .. climate change; drier … climate change; less ice … climate change; and now … more ice … climate change.

Making a ship-to-shore telephone call from the R.V. Aurora Australis tethered next to all this ice, Maksym describes his situation: "It's only you and the penguins", he says. It's time he came home.
