Courtesy of Berlaymonster we have Adam Fleming of the BBC asking Mr Barroso to comment on whether David Cameron was going to be able to repatriate any powers from Brussels.

It was, Berlaymonster suggests, perhaps not entirely diplomatic for Barroso to respond with a chuckle. Nor was it that clever of Barroso's chief of staff and former head of communications, Johannes Laitenberger, to utter an audible "no" as he steamed past the outstretched microphone.
